Written Summary:

Let me preface by saying the grade doesn’t really reflect a bad review. It’s just that this is not an instructional tape and therefore does not fit in with our criteria. This is not a technique tape. It was mostly a series of interviews with various Filipino kali Masters shot in 1988. It is a history of how Kali came to be in America. I personally liked it. It was like the history channel except about martial arts. Will it make you a better fighter? The answer is no. Will it make you more interesting and knowledgeable about the art you are studying? Yes it will, and for that reason I recommend the Grandfathers Speak.
