Written Summary:
First off let me say
this, the title can be a little deceiving for those of you that might be looking
for a tape on freestyle fighting that I know many of us refer to as KUMITE. It seems
that Mr. Grabow's idea of KUMITE, is to take one through different pre-arranged applications,
or "one-steps"/"self defense", in which you're shown how to apply
various Okinawan karate techniques. These end up being a variety of strikes, blocks,
and kicks, applied in various situations. This tape was a little "slow"
for my taste. I watched it late at night and could literally barely keep my eyes
open. However if you're into traditional Okinawan karate, you might enjoy it.
